Our Warranty

The seller guarantees that the product sold will meet the purchaser's specifications, unless otherwise modified by a written agreement between the parties. The product will also be free from defects in materials and workmanship, provided that proper storage, installation, use, and maintenance are followed, along with any applicable recommendations and standards from IEEE, ANSI, ASTM, and OSHA.

Under this warranty, the seller's responsibility is to either repair or replace any defective product within 40 years from the shipment date or 50,000 hours of bulb usage (depending on certain criteria), at the seller's discretion. The purchaser must give the seller prompt written notice (no later than 30 days) and satisfactory proof of the defect. The seller may also inspect the product at the job site and review all documentation of installation and maintenance.

If the seller repairs or replaces a portion of the product, the warranty covering that portion will be reinstated for a prorated period not exceeding 40 years from the original shipment date or 50,000-hour diode usage.

This warranty is the seller's only obligation and liability, and it replaces all other obligations and liabilities, including negligence. The seller disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied by law, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty is the purchaser's only remedy for any damages related to the sale or furnishing of goods or parts, their design, suitability for use, installation, or operation.

An authorized Trimlight dealer will provide the above limited warranty for all materials installed, except for certain exclusions. The aluminum finish will not chip, peel, flake, or blister under ordinary wear conditions. The light strings and diodes are warranted for 50,000 hours per diode, with the life expectancy of each bulb depending on standard usage. The authorized dealer is solely responsible for installation warranties and associated labor costs.

Labor & Installation

Labor & Installation Warranty

Our labor and installation come with a 1-year warranty, covering any repair costs for manufacturer-defective parts during that time. This includes faulty bulbs, power supply parts, LED controllers, light connections, and aluminum channel finish. After the initial 1-year warranty period, a $150 service call fee may apply, in addition to labor costs. We will provide an estimate for any necessary work and the client will be responsible for compensating our team for time and travel. However, rest assured that parts are still covered under the product warranty. Trust us to provide excellent service and support for your lighting needs.

Limitation of Liability

At Trimlight of Myrtle Beach, we stand behind our products and offer a limited warranty to our valued customers. However, please note that our liability is limited to the contract price of the goods in question, and we will not be responsible for any direct, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use of the purchaser's facilities, revenue, profits, or claims from customers.

This warranty is nontransferable and excludes accidental damage, settlement, structural shrinkage or distortion, acts of nature such as fire, lightning, windstorm, or earthquake, air pollution, misuse or abuse, vandalism, mold, mildew, impact from foreign objects, and water or ice damage.
